team in the construction industry.
Job Scope:
The
Quality Assurance/Quality Control Officer would be responsible for ensuring all
construction activities and materials meet the required standards and
specifications. He/She would play a crucial role in ensuring that construction
projects are completed to the highest quality standards and meet all regulatory
requirements.
Responsibilities:
1.
Monitoring and documenting quality control activities and maintaining detailed
records of inspections and corrective actions.
2.
Providing training and guidance to construction staff on quality control
procedures and best practices.
3.
Reviewing and conducting regular quality control tests and inspections on
construction materials, equipment and workers to ensure compliance to quality
standards.
4.
Collaborate with project manager, site engineers and contractors to identify
and resolve any quality issues or lapses in construction processes and
materials.
5.
Coordinate with external quality control agencies and regulatory bodies to
ensure compliance with building regulations.
6.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular reports of inspection and
audit on quality control activities.
Officer,
directs, monitors, and evaluates safety practices and procedures with respect
to laboratory and field analytical work. agencies as required. Reviews and
approves laboratory reports (internal commercial) for quality assurance,
accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of data.
Skills and Qualifications:
1.
OND degree in any related field and ISO certification.
2.
Proven experience as a QA/QC personnel, QMS officer in a construction firm.
3.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices in a construction
firm.
4.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
5.
Good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
6.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools and QMS software.
